Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m KaMi. I’ve come to believe that we all find our own way to make a difference, and for me, that path is through educational program evaluation. My career is grounded in helping schools and communities gain better understanding of what’s working, what can be strengthened, and how evidence can guide better decisions.

I focus on supporting education leaders through the use of evaluation tools, impact and economic studies, and data systems designed to inform practice and policy in meaningful but also practical ways.

Beyond my professional work, I’m a third-year PhD student at the University of South Florida, specializing in measurement, evaluation, and economic evaluation in education. I’m also a millennial mom balancing doctoral research, district projects, and family life—often fueled by strong coffee and curiosity.

In the moments I step away from research and data, I enjoy exploring local restaurants, quiet time at the beach, and finding new coffee shops to recharge and reflect. These small routines help me maintain balance and perspective in both my work and life.
